Why the sell stand comes first

The core loop is dig → sell hay → buy tools and machines → get a bigger pile. The Hay Sell Stand is the cash register for that loop. Automating anything else before a reliable sell path usually starves the shop.

Practice the loop in the free Demo before you spend a yard on belts.

Demo V8 sell-stand snap

Demo V8 makes the conveyor at the Hay Sell Stand snap. Point the first belt at the booth, confirm hay is actually riding the belt, then branch with U-Splitters only after that line pays for the next pole or machine.

Spending order that stays solvent

  1. Manual movers from the tools index until carting feels slower than a belt
  2. A short conveyor into the sell stand (conveyors and power)
  3. Power for machines that need it
  4. Scanners on any packaging route before products reach the booth (scanners and needles)
  5. Processing machines from the machines index once loose-hay sales fund them

Demo V8 cut the Vacuum Yard by 80%; everything else is priced in gold in the in-game shop.

Needles and sold products

A needle can sit inside packaged hay. If that product sells at the booth, the needle returns to the pile. Keep scanners between packaging machines (including the Silo) and the sell stand so money lines do not undo a find.
