Find The Needle beginner guide
Start your first Find The Needle hour: dig hay by hand, sell at the stand, buy a mover, then snap a belt that keeps the yard earning.
First steps in the warehouse
You start in a locked warehouse in front of an endless haystack. The instruction is to find the needles. You start by hand with a metal detector, dig hay, sell it, then buy tools and machines until belts and scanners do more of the looking.
The free build is the Demo.
Your first hour
- Detect and dig. Keep the metal detector on you while you clear loose hay with the shovel or another mover from the tools index.
- Sell early. Carry hay to the Hay Sell Stand and turn it into shop money before you freeze a belt layout. Details: sell hay and money.
- Buy one better mover. Named movers include buckets, wheelbarrows, pitchforks and vacuums. Demo V8 cut Vacuum Yard price by 80% — check that station before doubling up on the same tool.
- Snap a short sell belt. After Demo V8, the sell-stand conveyor snaps. A straight money line beats a decorative maze. See conveyors and power.
- Add power when machines need it. Press E on a power pole only when you mean to shut the whole network down.
What to unlock next
Once the booth stays fed, put a scanner on any packaging route before products reach the counter (scanners and needles). Keep a clear patch beside the sell stand for the first baler and scanner, so the next belt has somewhere to land. Check system requirements before you build a big yard.
